Amin Rahat Chughtai presents a plethora of feelings and emotions within his poetry. Although he writes about how he's been hurt in love and has always yearned for her, he also presents the pleasure, joy and positive feelings which accompany his thoughts whenever he thinks about his beloved. Even though the thoughts are hurtful, there is an element of joy and satisfaction underneath.
